Half of My Life

 

  Hi, let me introduce my partner, Benediktus Alejandro, a mixed Arab-Dutch man from Depok. He is usually called Ale or Ben, but not by me. I call him "tongsyeng" hehe, a unique nickname, right? Well, it all started because I had difficulty calling him "sayang" (darling in Indonesian), so I shortened it to "syeng," and he added "tongsyeng" to it. Isn't he a unique man? But that's what captivates me about him.

    The way we first met was quite unique and mind-blowing. It happened through social media, specifically Instagram. It started with him "playfully" following my social media account. He took the initiative to send a message through Direct Message (DM) on Instagram, but I didn't respond at all. However, his efforts didn't stop there.

    As time went by, I replied to the message he sent, and that's when we started getting closer. We became familiar with each other and eventually felt comfortable with one another. We went through many things together, both the difficult and happy moments, and more. This shared frequency made our sense of humor similar, and we could make jokes about simple things. I'm truly grateful to have him in my life because with him, my life has become so colorful.

    He's always by my side no matter what, and he's patient in this relationship. And in the end, we've reached a point where we both want to build a future together. As time goes on, we are preparing ourselves to stay together. Our relationship will always be strong, and only God can separate us.
